Product and Service Details:
We reserve the right to change any services, product prices, product specifications and availability at any time. All prices and descriptions supersede all previous publications. All sizes are approximate. We cannot guarantee that colours and details in images are accurate representations of the product.
Stock availability information on the website is the latest updated record but may not be totally current and does not guarantee that stock is available. Delivery dates and stock due in dates do not form part of any contract with us and we cannot be held liable for any losses whether direct or indirect if your order is delayed or not delivered by any dates that may have been given by us.
Our products are intended for use in a domestic private residential setting only and we provide no guarantees for their suitability outside of this. In particular we do not provide any guarantees if they are used in a commercial, public or contract environment. The goods we sell are for consumers for general domestic use only and must be used for the intended purpose. All products carry a first year manufacturers guarantee however, this does not cover accidental damage or misuse of the item. If the product is taken outside of the UK it will invalidate the warranty. For Details of warranty please refer to product details.
Ordering
Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send an email confirmation to you that we have despatched that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the despatch confirmation email to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a despatch confirmation email to have been despatched do not form part of that contract. The company shall under no circumstances be held liable for any losses special to the particular circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or for loss of profits, damage or property or wasted expenditure. Once payment has been made the price paid for the goods is fixed and not subject to change if that price is altered in the future. However if a pricing error has occurred the company will not be liable for this and may request additional payment to complete the order.
Delivery
We endeaver to ship smaller items within 3 working days. Please allow larger items upto 21 days. If for any reason your item is not in stock you will be notified and an expected arrival date will be given. Once your purchased items have been dispatched you will receive an email as confirmation. You will be responsible for arranging a convenient delivery time. If delivery is made and customer is not present, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the delivery company and re-arrange a convenient time for re-delivery. The customer is liable for any charges incurred for re-delivery/missed delivery.
Please note for larger items of furniture, delivery is to the curb side only. Items are not transported into the house unless arranged prior to delivery.
Delivery will only be made to the card holder's address. Alternative delivery addresses are not accepted in order to protect your bank details.
Payment
Your debit or credit card is charged for the whole amount of the order when the order is created. The card may be immediately refunded for the value of any items cancelled on the order at any time up until when we despatch the items to you. If the entire order is cancelled and no items are despatched then any charge for handling and/or delivery will also be refunded. Refunds are processed at least once every 2 weeks, there may be a delay of up to 7 working days once the refund is processed (due to banking administration), we except no liability for delays caused by refunds being delayed in holding accounts by external banks.
Returns
We hope you will be happy with your purchase. However if for any reason you are not, please follow the instructions below.
Ensure you check all item dimensions before ordering.
Please check your purchase fully on receipt.
Transit damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
All items and parts of items must be checked for any damage prior to assembly.
Unwanted Goods.
Returns - due to change of mind
Should you feel your product to be inappropriate your order can be returned within 7 days for a full refund less the return delivery costs. Please note this is subject to the following important terms:
• The goods are returned unused and in perfect condition.
• The goods are fully re-packaged and sealed in the original packaging and format.
Returns - due to transit damage.
It is imperative that goods are inspected for obvious signs of transit damage before signing any delivery receipt. Goods with signs of mishandling must be signed 'damaged' alongside your signature on the delivery receipt. If in doubt sign your delivery receipt 'damaged'. Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery so that a claim for transit damage can be filed with the carrier and a replacement unit can be dispatched.
Returns - due to manufacturing fault.
In the unlikely event that workmanship or material faults do develop during the warranty period please contact our sales office by email supporting your claim with digital photographs. We will repair the item free of charge during this period, or replace it if necessary

Unwanted items must be returned in a fully resalable condition, which includes being in the original, unmarked and undamaged packaging. Items must not have been used or assembled in any way. Devonchic Interiors retains the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be resalable. Returns cannot be accepted once the assembly process has begun.
Please note that we do not offer a free returns service. We do not refund the return postage cost or the original delivery charge. We do not offer a free collection service. We do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit back to us. If returning your purchase by mail we recommend that you get proof of postage via a recorded delivery service. You must include your customer order details with the package, as we cannot process a refund without these.
Once received, the items will be checked and a refund issued within four weeks. Items returned must arrive in perfect condition, including the packaging, so please ensure that they are packed well. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on any item if the above conditions have not been met.
Personal Data
The personal information that Devonchic Interiors collects from you is used to operate our business and improve our service to customers. We use your data to fulfil your orders and to provide you with information about our products and services.
Names and Addresses
We occasionally make names and addresses (but never email addresses or telephone numbers) available to other companies we think may interest you, unless you have told us not to. If you do not wish to receive such offers please email us at info@devonchicinteriors.co.uk with your account number, which can be found above your address on your invoice and we will ensure that this does not happen.
Email addresses
By supplying us with your email address you are allowing us to keep in touch when you place an order (order confirmation), when we have despatched your order to you or to deal with any possible queries you may have with your order. We will also use it to alert you to special promotions such as web only sales and customer evenings and keep you up to date with new promotions or services. If you do not wish to receive these marketing emails please email your customer number to info@devonchicinteriors.co.uk and we will make sure we don't email you about these things. You can also unsubscribe from receiving the email by clicking on the unsubscribe link on the bottom of any email we have sent you. We will of course still send you emails relating directly to any order you have placed.
Mobile numbers and landlines
We require a telephone number when an order is placed. This is to allow us to contact you when delivering an order or dealing with any queries you may have. WE NEVER COLD CALL OR PASS ON EMAILS OR TELEPHONE NUMBERS
Legal
The company shall under no circumstance whatsoever be liable for losses special to the particular circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or for the loss of profits, damage to the property or wasted expenditure.
Dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Colour reproduction is as accurate as photographic and printing processes will allow.
Privacy policy
We respect your privacy and only hold information required to process your orders.
We do not pass your telephone number, email address or details to any other organisations other than to process your order or as required by law.
We do not make sales phone calls and will only call you if we have an issue with an order you have placed.
All information we hold on you is kept securely and confidentially as required by the Data Protection Act 1998. The information we ask of you through the checkout process is the minimum required to process your order.
From time to time we would like to inform you by email of sale events, new product launches or special offers from Devonchic Interiors. If you do not wish to receive emails from us, please send an email to info@devonchicinteriors.co.uk saying that you do not wish to receive further emails of this sort.
We will still send you order confirmation, despatch confirmation emails and the like related to orders you have placed. With your permission, we may pass your name and address information only to carefully vetted companies (these companies may be based outside the EC) whose products or services we feel may interest you. If you do not wish to receive such contacts, please check the relevant box before submitting your details
